App data stays in local app storage

Calm Fasting stores your profile choices, schedule, fasting records, moods and optional notes in the app’s local storage. The inspected app has no account, developer backend, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or HealthKit integration.

Your device or computer backups may contain app data. Local storage is not a promise that data never leaves your device through your own backups.

Purchases and outside links

Membership purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit. Apple handles the payment transaction; Calm Fasting does not ask for your payment-card details. External reading and legal pages open when you choose their links and are subject to those sites’ practices.

Deletion

Settings includes Erase all data. On successful completion, this clears the app’s saved profile, preferences, fasting history and notes, and removes the app’s own regular unreadable-state recovery files from local app storage. If a file operation fails, the app reports that it could not erase all data and asks you to retry; some files may already have been cleared. It does not delete unrelated files or follow symbolic links. Erasing app data does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase existing device backups.

Support messages

When you email support, Leonard Myrenblom receives your email address, message and any information you choose to include, and uses them to respond to and resolve your request. Email forwarding and mailbox providers process messages for delivery and storage. Do not send journal exports, health records, Apple passwords or payment details. Support email is separate from the app’s on-device journal; the app does not automatically send journal content to support.

Website data

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical connection information, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices. These pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or external fonts and do not set their own cookies.

Your choices

Use Settings → Erase all data to remove the app’s local records. The developer cannot access or delete records stored only on your device or in your device backups. For questions or requests concerning information you have sent to support, contact the operator. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
